- The Florida Panthers are a win away from making a trip to the Stanley Cup Final for the second straight year. Just don’t tell anyone in the locker room that. They do not want to hear it. After a 3-2 win in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference final gave them a 3-2 led in the Eastern Conference final, the Panthers are not focused on the Final. They’re focused on taking down the New York Rangers in Game 6 on Saturday night in Sunrise. [Florida Panthers]
- The New Jersey Devils have addressed one of their top priorities this offseason, finally naming a head coach. Next, they’ll look to address their next most important need, most likely via a trade. [New Jersey Devils]
- For those who don’t know of or anything about top 2024 prospect Carter Yakemchuk, he’s a 6-foot-3 right-shot defenseman who just led all WHL defensemen in goals with 30. The 18-year-old was second in goals on his team, the Calgary Hitmen, and also finished second in assists (41) and points (71).[Philadelphia Flyers]
