For me one of the side stories that should be interesting for the Habs is how Calgary does this year. They (the Habs) have an extra 1st rounder due to the Monahan trade and I am (obviously) hoping they can maximize its value. Calgary is a mess right now and could finish low in the standings.

I am also (obviously) hoping that the Habs can pick up another 1st come the TDL. Although which current Habs player can be traded for such a bounty is beyond me. Funny enough Monahan could be that candidate again, unlikely as that sounds.
