An article in The Athletic implied Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby would possibly be open to the idea of one day playing for the Canadiens. For what it’s worth, Crosby also mentioned he’s focused on Pittsburgh going forward. The situation may change, but it’s clear that he’s not seriously considering a change at the moment. “I’m worried about playing for Pittsburgh,” Crosby, the Penguins captain, said at the NHL North American Player Media Tour on Tuesday. “I haven’t seriously considered anything else.”[NHL]

Crosby obviously is not going to say he has one foot out the door. And we now know he has thought about options.
