Logan Cooley is probably going to surpass Juraj Slafkovsky in points relatively soon, but the real prize from 2022 was not found in the first round. The mere fact that Hutson is on the heels of both Cooley and Slafkovsky with just one season in the bank as a defenceman is yet another testament to his ridiculously impressive rookie campaign.

Ivan Demidov and his girlfriend, Katyaa Yakovleva, are enjoying their summer, currently spending time in Manhattan, home of very mediocre bagels that are closer to being rolls with holes than a proper bagel you’ll find in Montreal. On the flip side, The Guggenheim is always worth a visit.

Just one year ago, the Pittsburgh Penguins prospect pool beyond the top 10 was a smattering of potentials who were long shots, but in 2025, the list includes a pair of players who played large roles for their teams at the World Junior Championships and a former long shot who earned an NHL entry level contact after proving himself at the AHL level. The Vegas Golden Knights have a goaltending problem. It’s hard to find a proven starter in this league– they don’t exactly grow on trees. As the game evolves over the years and changes with the times, one thing remains the same: the goaltending carousel never stops spinning. Teams punch ticket after ticket, constantly scrambling to find their solution in net. [Vegas Golden Knights]
