It’s still very early in his career, but as it stands, defenceman Lane Hutson projects to be a dominant NHL player. Considering he’s still a few years away from hitting his prime, we can also safely suggest the best is yet to come.

Some former members of the Canadiens are thriving, such as Sean Monahan, however, others are having a hard time fitting in with their new teams. At a time when Marco Kasper is on the Detroit Red Wings’ second line and Jonatan Berggren is one of the team’s hot scorers, it seems fair to wonder how long it will take Nate Danielson to join the younger forward group. [Detroit Red Wings]

Alexandar Georgiev played one of his best games of the season in the Avalanche’s 2-1 win over the Washington Capitals. The 28-year-old netminder made 30 saves against the top goals-per-game average team in the league. [Colorado Avalanche]
Yeah, Lane is must watch tv, already a top 10 player in the league as far as excitement goes, although he’s been less electric as often.the past 10 games as he was the first 10. I suspect his puck possession numbers are lower the past few weeks. That’s ok, he needs to learn and adapt to improve his overall game.
I see his brother Cole has 8 points in 12 games at BU as a freshman. I still think he ends up being a steal and redrafts will have him as a top half of round 1. Yeah, the Hutson clan is good at hockey.
