The wait is over! The 2024-25 season begins tonight for the Montreal Canadiens. They will face the Toronto Maple Leafs, but for the first time in a long time, the Habs won’t start the season on the road. Roy was disappointed to be the last forward cut at camp, but he’s also aware he has to work hard to make it back to the NHL.
“It was a hard pill to swallow, but it’s a new start this morning. I want to work on my game and myself. My goal is to get back up there [to the NHL].”
