- Phenom Lane Hutson was named the defenceman of the month in the Hockey East conference. The Montreal Canadiens prospect has eight goals and eight assists in just 13 games this season for Boston University.

- He wasn’t the only Canadiens prospect currently playing in the NCAA that took home an accolade. Jacob Fowler was named the goaltender of the month, as well. He’s having a dominant start to his NCAA career.
