WATCH: Jake Allen With An Incredible Save

Jake Allen

Jake Allen with a potential save of the year, making a sprawling save with his stick while pushing off cross ice.

Allen kept the Canadiens in the game early on, making a flurry of timely saves on the Red Wings in the high-danger areas. His 25 saves in the first period alone tied a franchise record, set by Allen himself last season against the Caroline Hurricanes; a remarkable feat considering how many of those chances were prime scoring chances.

However, he saved his best for the second period, where he made a crazy save off a cross-crease push, tipping the puck out of the way with the tip of his stick.
