More and more, it sounds like Christian Dvorak won’t be back with the Montreal Canadiens next season.

That, more Montreal Canadiens news, NHL trade rumours and more in the latest Canadiens Daily:

Montreal Canadiens

The more this offseason goes on, it appears there’s more than just smoke to the NHL trade rumours involving Montreal Canadiens centre Christian Dvorak. Many NHL insiders believe Dvorak could be involved in a trade for Winnipeg Jets centre Pierre-Luc Dubois but one NHL exec says other teams have interest too.

Montreal Canadiens executive vice president Jeff Gorton hit one out of the park when he bought low on centre Mika Zibanejad in a trade with the Ottawa Senators when he was general manager of the New York Rangers. Could Kent Hughes do the same with Kirby Dach?

The Montreal Canadiens are clearly active in NHL trade talks but other than the rumoured names we hear them linked to, what are their biggest organizational needs? Marco D’Amico examines.
