The Montreal Canadiens have lost a valuable and beloved member of their coaching staff in Luke Richardson, who took over as head coach for the Chicago Blackhawks on Friday.

Not only is there a new addition coming to the coaching staff for the Montreal Canadiens but in less than two weeks, there will be new player prospects at the NHL Draft added to their growing prospect pool.

Chicago is Luke’s kind of town! Montreal Canadiens assistant coach Luke Richardson is set to take the head coach post for the Chicago Blackhawks.

With Richardson off to the Windy City, will the Montreal Canadiens go internal or external to replace him? If they do the latter, they could make a hire that will really spice up their rivalry with the Boston Bruins.
