Jeff Petry scored with 31 seconds left in regulation and the Montreal Canadiens snapped their nine-game losing streak with a 4-3 win over the New York Rangers. However, thanks to the Arizona Coyotes winning, they also secured the best odd to pick first overall at the 2022 NHL Entry Draft in Montreal.
