Following practice Tuesday, the Montreal Canadiens announced that goalie Carey Price would travel with the team to New York but not to dress for the team’s final road game of the season against the New York Rangers, but rather to be further medically evaluated.

Later, on TSN Insider Trading on Tuesday night, TSN Insider Pierre Lebrun said that Price still plans on playing against the Florida Panthers in the season finale Friday night at the Bell Centre.

Shea Weber is still the captain of the Montreal Canadiens and some in the media and plenty of fans are wondering why he couldn’t hop a flight to be there Sunday night for the pregame ceremony honoring Habs legend Guy Lafleur, who passed away this past Friday?
